Kaley Farnsworth
Teaches:

Kaley
has been taking dance at Jeanne's School of Dance since she was 2 years
old. She was a member of the Power Force Dance Company, as well as the
Spiritline captain during school. At the age of 15, Kaley began
teaching tumbling and hip hop. She continued teaching dance at Jeanne's
through high school. After graduating from high school, Kaley went on
to Brigham Young University where she studied Elementary Education.
During the summers, Kaley would come home to do what she loves most,
teaching dance! During college, Kaley was a member of the Advance Tap
Company where she performed at Homecoming Spectacular, World of Dance,
and Christmas Around the World. She has since graduated from college,
been married for over a year, started teaching 5th grade, as well as
classes at two of Jeanne's dance studios. Kaley loves all her students
and wishes them the best of luck.

Kisha Campbell

Kisha
was born and raised in Mesa. Her first class at the age of three was a
combo class taught by Jeanne Wright. At the age of five she began
dancing at Stars Dance Studio and had the opportunity to perform in
Australia at the World's Expo. She has performed at many Sun's
half-time shows, the East/West Shrine Bowl, and marched in Washington
D.C.'s Independence Day Parade. In high school she received the award
of Senior Division Champion for her solo and speech. Kisha was on the
varsity Spiritline and performed in the Dance Company at Mesa High. Her
teaching career began when she was in high school. She attended Rick's
College in Idaho where she was a member of the Viking Line. Kisha owes
much thanks to the Stars and her mother, who was here teacher and
mentor. After college, she came home to be assistant director of Stars
Dance Team until it's close in 2002. Kisha has been teaching company
jazz, jazz and lyrical at Jeanne's for five years. Kisha loves the
girls and what they bring into her life. She says, "There are so many
talented dancers here and I am thankful to be part of the team." Kisha
and her husband have a son.

Megan Elliot

Megan
has been teaching dance at Jeanne's since 2004. She trained at Jeanne's
for 11 years and danced at Hamilton High School in Chandler, Arizona.
She won a First Place Grand Champion Trophy in Las Vegas, Nevada for
clogging.
She is currently teaching jazz, hip hop, tap and clogging classes at the Chandler studio.

Miguel Garcia

Teaches:

Miguel
teaches ballet classes at the Chandler studio. Miguel began his
training at the Ballet Academy of Rego Park, New York. A scholarship to
study at the School of the American Ballet Theatre, resulted in
membership with the junior touring Company of American Ballet Theatre.
He then joined the National Ballet of Canada as a corps de ballet
member and was later promoted to the rank of soloist dancer. During his
tenure with the National Ballet he worked with Rudolph Nureyev, and
then performing with "Nureyev and Friends" in Paris, France, and in the
presence of Princess Margaret in London, England and was featured on
the cover of Dance Magazine in July 1985. Mr. Garcia has danced with
Ballet West in Salt Lake City, Utah. Performing at the Kennedy Center
for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. In 1991 he joined Ballet
Arizona as a soloist dancer and was moved to the ranks of principal
dancer the following season. Mr. Garcia has also performed with the
Milwaukee Ballet and the Colorado Ballet.

Miranda Felice

Miranda
began taking dance lessons at Jeanne Wright’s when she was three
years old. She was a member of the Powerforce Dance Company and enjoyed
performing at Disneyland, the Arizona State Fair, Jeanne's Recitals and
various dance competitions. She danced with Danceworkes (Gilbert High
School's dance company) during her sophomore, junior and senior years
of high school. In addition, she has been a part of Ballet Etudes,
which has provided her with many performing opportunities, since she
was 10. Some of her roles with Ballet Etudes have included have been
Chinese, Court Fairy, and Dew Drop Fairy in the Nutcracker. She
was a Mermaid and a Pirate in Peter Pan, choreographed by Justin Moore;
and Fairy Godmother and a Step-Sister in Cinderella. Miranda has
also danced annually with the Metropolitan Youth Symphony (MYS) at the
Mesa Amphitheater. Some of her favorite pieces with MYS include
Can-Can, The Toy Shoppe, and Blue Tango.
In
addition to her study at Jeanne Wright’s Dance Academy, Miranda
has studied during the summer at American Ballet Theatre and Alonzo
King’s LINES Ballet. She was most inspired by her time at LINES
Ballet in San Francisco where she was thrilled to study with Alonzo
King, Maurya Kerr and Yannis Adoniou.

Whitney Deering Vance
Teaches:
Combo
|
Whitney
has been performing in singing and dancing for as long as she can
remember. Her dancing career began at the age of 3 and, of course, at
Jeanne's. Whitney soon after found her love for music and singing. She
began taking vocal lessons and was in musical performance groups. She
has been singing for 15 years and loves every minute of it. Whitney has
performed in several musical productions such as Newsies, Pirates of
Penzance, and had the leading role in Bye Bye Birdie. Whitney also
assists in musical theater classes called "That's Entertainment." She
loves nothing more than spreading the joy of music and dance to
children of all ages. She loves the children she teaches and
appreciates the happiness they bring into her life.
